Q. What is an Affiliate Program?
A. An Affiliate program is a partnership between you and an online merchant, in this case Designer Life, who compensates you for any sales generated from links on your site. In other words, an Affiliate Program is an easy way to earn money from traffic that you already get on your site.

Q. How do I become an Affiliate?
A. After signing up on our sign up page, you will post your unique affiliate link or banner on your web site or email it to your mailing list. You may also, with our approval, use text or HTML ads to send to your mailing list. Contact affiliate at designer-life.com for approval.

Q. How does the Designer Life Online Affiliate Program work?
A. Typically, you are (or soon will be) receiving traffic to your site. With Designer Life, you can channel that traffic and turn it into additional income. It's very simple: when one of your site visitors clicks on the link that you have posted, they'll be sent to the Designer Life site. If, after landing on our site, the visitor purchases one of our products via the Designer Life web site, you will earn a percentage of the sale, or commission. Please note that you do not get affiliate commission on products that you purchase yourself, but rather on products that others purchase as a result of clicking on your affiliate link.

Q. Is there a cost to join?
A. Joining our program is absolutely free! If the customer purchases through the Designer Life web site, we all get paid! It's that easy.

Q. How many Designer Life products am I allowed to sell?
A. You may sell as many products from Designer Life's line as you choose. Once you join, you are automatically enrolled to sell all our products. Generally, the most successful affiliates have chosen products that target their current audience, or have created new pages that target their visitor's interest in our product's features.

Q. Where can I get any support that I may need?

Q. Do I have to provide product support?
A. No. Once a sale is made, we take care of everything.

Q. How much will I get paid for each customer who buys from me?
A Depending on the product you are selling, you will receive 20% to 50% of the sales price as your commission rate. Our seminars generate a commission of 20% and downloadable products generate a commission for you of 50%. Please note that for the moment, we will only pay out on affiliate sales made through the Designer Life web site. If a customer cannot pay by credit card and chooses to call us to arrange payment via cash or bank transfer, your affiliate account will not be credited with a sale.

Q. Can I change my account information or password after I sign up?
A. Yes. Just login here. After logging in with your username and password, you will be able to edit your settings by clicking on the "Account Profile" link at the top of the page. You can change most data, including your password and e-mail address.

Q. Does my web site qualify for the Designer Life Online Affiliate Program?
A. Most web sites will qualify to participate in the program; however, we may reject web sites that we determine unsuitable. Examples of sites that would not qualify for participation include:

• Sites that do not resonate with the Designer Life philosophy.
• Sites that promote sexually explicit material
• Sites that promote violence
• Sites that promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation, or age
• Sites that promote illegal activities
• Sites that violate intellectual property rights

Q. What forms of advertising can I use to promote Designer Life?
A. Affiliates are welcome to promote their web sites, but naturally, any promotion that mentions Designer Life products could be perceived by the public or the press as a joint effort. Therefore, any use of our name in such promotions must be pre-approved by Designer Life. This includes advertisements, press releases and mailings.

Q. What kinds of advertising are prohibited by Designer Life?
A. Certain forms of indiscriminate advertising, commonly referred to as "spamming" are unacceptable as they could cause damage to our brand name. Prohibited forms of advertising include the use of unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE), postings to non-commercial newsgroups and cross-posting to multiple newsgroups at once. In addition, affiliates may not advertise in any way that effectively conceals or misrepresents their identity, their domain name or their return e-mail address. Mailings are acceptable only if the recipient is already a customer or subscriber to the Affiliate"s services. In addition, recipients must have the option of removing themselves from future mailings. (See CANN-SPAM act of 2003) Newsgroup postings are acceptable only in newsgroups that specifically welcome commercial messages. When in doubt, consult the newsgroup FAQ section or ask the moderators to be sure you message is acceptable in that newsgroup. Affiliates must also clearly represent themselves and their web sites as independent entities from Designer Life. In any forum or media, affiliates are expected to honor the advertising practices and restrictions that are commonly considered acceptable by its audience. Failure to honor this code of conduct can result in immediate termination of an Affiliate's account, and loss of all commissions earned.

Q. Do you have cookies?
A.Last referrer cookies are set at 120 days. The affiliate who converts the sale, receives the commission.

Q. What's my linking code?
A. Your linking code can be obtained by logging into your affiliate account (login into your account here) with your username and password and clicking on the "Get Links & Marketing Tools " button at the top of the page.

Q. How will I know how much I have earned?
A. We provide 24-hour Real Time Stats on all Affiliate Accounts. Log-in here using your username and password and then click "Get Reports". Here, you can track the number of clicks, sales and commission owed to you at any given time. Use this information to evaluate your performance with our program and adjust your marketing efforts accordingly.

Q. What's the minimum payout?
A. The Designer Life minimum payout (threshold that must be met before your commissions are paid into your PayPal Account) is $10.

Q. How do I know when a sale has been made?
A. You will see sales reflected in your stats and you can choose to receive an e-mail confirmation of each sale when you sign up.

Q. When will I get paid?
A. Designer Life pays its Affiliates within the first three days of each month. At this time, payments are made to PayPal accounts only.

Q. How am I guaranteed payment for sales from my site?
A. You are assigned a unique Affiliate Link Code. Links to the Designer Life website originating from your personal web page or email mailings will use your unique Affiliate Link. Every time a customer follows the link from your page to the Designer Life product page, this unique code tells us that your affiliate account generated the customer and you will be credited for that sale.

PLEASE NOTE: Until further notice, we will only pay out on affiliate sales made through the Designer Life web site originating from your valid affiliate URL. If a customer who you referred to us cannot pay by credit card and chooses to call us to arrange payment via cash or bank transfer, your affiliate account will not be credited with a sale. To reiterate, you will get paid affiliate commission on all online sales originating from your affiliate link. You wil not earn affiliate commission from sales made offline.
