This weekend was one of the most fun weekends I have had in a while…
I had the privilege of being invited by Dr Joe Vitale (from the movie The Secret) to speak at his Attract Wealth seminar. This was a dream come true for me.
I got to hang out and make friends with Dr. Joe and many other awesome speakers including Joe Sugarman and Wendi Friesen.
The seminar participants learned heaps and reported to me that my presentation was one one of the highlights of the seminar. Joe blogged about it here.

I found out about the credit crunch a few days after the rest of the world did. Because I haven’t owned a television in 5 years and I don’t read the newspaper (unless I’m in it

Well, this morning has been a good one!
I just found out that I have come in as one of two runners up in the XL 2008 Extraordinary Lives award!
The winner was Dr John DeMartini, so I am in good company…
XL Results Foundation is a organization that consists of Social Entrepreneurs committed to giving back. Each year, 100 members (out of 4000 or so) are nominated for the award. Nominees are extraordinary people who are making a difference in the world.
So, you can imagine what an honor it is not only to be nominated, but to also come in second place!

What an exciting weekend I just had. I’ve just got home from my first ever book signing at the Agape Spiritual Centre in Los Angeles.

In December 2006, on New Year’s Eve, I met up with 4 of my close friends and we set our goals for 2007. One of my goals was to have a book published and have it go to #1 on the NY Times bestseller list. Well, the first part just got ticked off, now for the second…
The book, titled “Thank God I…” is a compilation of 47 inspirational short stories about regular people overcoming extraordinary circumstances. Each story is entitled “Thank God I…” e.g. “Thank God I Was Raped” and “Thank God I Went Bankrupt” etc…
My story in the book tells the tale of how I spent SIX months living as the only white man in an African township (shanty town). It just got published in a book called “Thank God I…”
My story is called “Thank God I Was A Racist” and is an honest account of how I overcame my racial conditioning that I inherited while growing up in apartheid South Africa by moving to Gugletu. Guguletu (population 100,000) is a shanty town 15 km outside Cape Town. After SIX months of living there as the only white man, any predjudice I had moving in was completely gone. It was a defining expereince in my life.

Last weekend, I gave a talk about the Mindset Of Wealth at the International Convention Center in Cape Town. The audience was so taken with the concept that your wealth begins in your mind, that the organizers rearranged the speaker schedule so that I could speak again – this time on how to find your ‘path of least resistance’ to wealth. I’d like to share some of what I spoke about with you today, so you too can benefit from this valuable information.
In today’s world, everyone has a different opinion about how to become wealthy. Some teachers tell you to diversify your investments while others will tell you to focus on one thing. Some teachers teach that property is the best investment vehicle, while others will tell you to buy a franchise.
Everybody has a valid opinion and everybody thinks that their opinion is right. It probably is, but it’s right for them because of who they are, and may be very, very wrong for you.
I recently had the privilege of sharing a stage with Roger James Hamilton, the man who created the Wealth Dynamics system – a system for finding your path of least resistance to wealth. His system takes all the guess work out of HOW to claim your wealth. With that in mind, let’s look at how you can discover your path of least resistance to wealth.
Having studied hundreds of the world’s wealthiest people, Roger discovered something very interesting… All of them created their wealth in only one of EIGHT WAYS.
Each one of us also has the potential to amass large amounts of wealth effortlessly, but only if we create it in a particular way. Just like Tiger Woods is naturally predisposed to playing golf, so too you are naturally predisposed to creating wealth in a particular way – a way that is the most natural (and most effortless) for you.
The reason why so many people struggle to create wealth is that they are not following their path of least resistance. Let me explain…
One of my 2007 goals was to travel through Asia. It has just manifested – albeit two weeks into 2008.
Today, I met with Roger James Hamilton, author and creator of Wealth Dynamics. Roger asked be if I would be interested in going on a speaking tour of Asia in March to promote the XL Results Foundation – a foundation of entrepreneurs dedicated to giving back. As a Life Member of this extraordinary foundation, I was thrilled at the opportunity to share it with others.
When I asked him where he had in mind, he replied “Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and India!”
I tried to conceal my delight and blurted out “Look no further. You have found the man for the job!”

Last weekend was my 1st time co-leading the Designer Life seminar with Jaime Kessel. For the longest time, I have been leading seminars solo – me, myself, I and my participants. That all changed last weekend when Canadian motivation expert, Jaime Kessel, flew to London to share the stage with me during the July Designer Life seminar. Boy, was it fun!
I met Jaime at a Train The Trainer course in January 2007 and by the end of the course, I was thinking “Jeez, this woman is awesome! I have to lead a seminar with her.” She seemed to light up when I mentioned the idea, so we created a Blueprinting CD together to manifest co-leading a seminar. I listened to the CD for a month, and 4 months later, we led our first seminar together. Easy Peezy.
A Blueprinting CD is a CD I record especially to manifest a BIG goal that is important to me. I generally listen to them for a month each and then move on and make another one. Usually, my goal manifests in some form within 3 months. Blueprinting is really the most powerful way to manifest anything as far as I am concerned. I have not found another method that tops it for speed, magic and effortlessness.
Another 1st was that the Designer Life seminar came of age and grew to a 2 day extravaganza of fun learning and manifesting miracles. Ta Da!

Another miracle this week…
A few years ago, I moved into Guguletu, a black South African shanty town, as the only white man in a community of 100000 black Africans. I did this to conquer my fear of black South Africans which I had been conditioned with during the apartheid years. I lived there for 6 months and it was one of the turning points of my life. I am currently writing a book telling the story of my amazing time there.
Last New Years Eve, a bunch of friends and I were goalsetting at the beautiful Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town. One of my goals for 2007 was that my book is a New York Times bestseller.
A few months ago I recieved an email from a company called www.thankgodi.com. They are realeasing a book of gratitude short stories and asked me to contribute to the book. I was on tour in South Africa when I received the email and only got around to answering it last week. I called Amanda at www.ThankGodI.com and she told me that they already had hundreds of stories and books were filling fast, and that the first book was already in editing.
I was dissapointed, thinking that I had missed my chance at having my story featured in the book, however Amanda asked me to tell her my story to her anyway. When I came to the end, she said to me “Would you like to be featured in the 1st book alongside John DiMartini and Michael Beckwith (both from the movie The Secret)? I like your story so much, I’ll find a way to squeeze your story into the 1st book, even though it is full. This book is going to be even bigger than The Secret!”
I was awestruck. It then dawned on me that when this book does become bigger than The Secret, it will be a New York Times no.1 bestseller and my story will be featured in it! Remembering my New Year’s resolution to have a New York Times bestseller, I got goosebumps all over my body.
I teach manifesting and I experience miracles on a weekly, if not daily basis, but I am still stunned every time they happen.
