Adele and I wil be updating the the EnduroIndia page of this Blog as often as we can while we are on our trip, so please check back often. If you want to be notified of when we update the EnduroIndia page of this Blog, click here.

Comment Rules: If you invited a guest into your home and they began breaking stuff and insulting you, you’d probably ask them to leave, right? Well please think of my blog as my home. Critical thought is fine, but if you’re rude, we’ll delete your stuff. So, be cool and have fun here. (Thanks to Tim Ferriss for the inspiration)

    Hello,

On Sunday 23rd January, I’m heading off to India, to participate in the 2011 Enduro India rally.

Global Enduro have very kindly allowed me to carry on fundraising towards the target total right up until the last minute- so I now have until Wednesday 19th January to get as much money as I possibly can for this year’s nominated charities- Save the Children, The Rainbow Trust, Adventure Ashram and the Centre for Wildlife Studies. With this in mind, I’m contacting every previous Enduro participant I can find.

As a previous participant, you will no doubt appreciate how difficult it can sometimes be to extract money from members of the public, no matter how good or worthwhile the cause. Whilst you have arguably ‘done your bit’ by reaching a target total for a previous event, perhaps you are able to help out by doing just a little bit more?

I have set up a page at http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/simonwhitehouse. Here you can make a donation using paypal or a credit/debit card, with all money raised going directly to the charities. Rest assured, I have covered the cost of the trip from my own pocket, so you are not paying for me to have a holiday!

I really hope you can help with this final fundraising effort, and would like to say thanks in advance for your generosity.

    With best regards,

    Simon Whitehouse.
